How long a limb-and-bag curb stop actually takes

A typical curb stop runs about 25 minutes once the trailer can sit at the street, including the walk from the pile to the hitch.

Twenty-five minutes is the planning number when the load is cut limbs plus bagged leaves and the trailer can park at the curb. That count includes walking the pile, stacking, and tying down. It does not include a second driveway on the same street.

If the crew has to carry brush more than a short walk, add minutes on that stop before promising the rest of the route. The stops tool multiplies stop count by minutes on site so a six-stop morning is not booked as a two-hour window.

Haulers who already know their own minutes should give Mabel that number. She records it. She does not replace the crew’s judgment on a steep lot or a wet pile.
